Strategic Partnership between Schools Only
TREE - Traditions, Reality, Education, Entertainment nr. 2016-1-BG01-KA219-023648_6 will enable the establishment of new methods of teaching in kindergartens and primary schools in Europe and their integration into the national education systems after the project is completed.
The project will be completed with the development of high-standard affordable early childhood education services. The concept of the project is based on the idea of game methodology and aims at developing a set of a game-book in both forms - electronic and paper -bodied flash-cards, and teacher's guidebook. The game will be based on two main characters - the main project character- the Ant and the symbolic TREE. Travelling along its tree and crossing the borders, the Ant will study national cultural and traditional values and will bring this knowledge to the countries it visits. The TREE symbolizes the past, present and future cultural aspects and knowledge of a certain country. Gathering information from each participant's country the Ant will result in a set of this teaching system which will represent all the countries with their own traditions and while playing the game, children will acquire a lot of new knowledge concerning other nations, as well as civil competencies.
The project stages are planned as follows:
- To Develop a toy Ant (6 pieces, one for each country participating in the project);
- Issuing of a book-game "The Ant's Journey" (PDF);
- Development of an electronic version of the book;
- To publish a methodological guidebook, containing
- Guidelines on how to use products related to OER for international cultural education in kindergartens and primary schools;
- Guidelines addressed to parents on how to use the product at home;
- Guidelines for educators on how to use the products in class.
- An interactive game that will be used in teaching social world related knowledge to children;
- To report on multicultural education in kindergartens and primary schools.
